Reliability & Environmental Testing in China

Climatic, salt spray, vibration, UV aging and drop testing.

Accelerated environmental and reliability tests to qualify products for real-world service conditions and certification requirements.

Reliability & Environmental Testing
Service Overview

What this service covers

Reliability and environmental testing simulates the worst conditions a product will encounter in its service life — extreme cold, tropical heat and humidity, salt-laden coastal air, transport vibration, accidental drops and years of UV exposure — and proves the product survives. Our reliability testing service in China gives international product teams direct access to accredited environmental laboratories with capacity normally reserved for OEMs.

Common project formats include automotive reliability sequences (LV 124, USCAR, customer specifications), consumer-electronics qualification (IEC 60068, IEC 60529 IP-rating), battery and energy-storage abuse testing (UN 38.3, IEC 62133), and outdoor-equipment certification (IP, salt spray per ASTM B117, UV per ASTM G154).

We coordinate the entire program — test plan, fixture design, sample logistics, lab booking, engineer supervision, in-test inspection and final reporting — so the customer receives a single qualification package rather than a stack of un-integrated lab certificates.

Typical Applications

Salt Spray Qualification of Outdoor Enclosure
Telecom Infrastructure

Salt Spray Qualification of Outdoor Enclosure

Challenge
Coastal-deployed enclosure showed corrosion within 12 months; OEM needed evidence to drive a coating change.
Approach
Baseline + alternative coating samples subjected to 1000 hours ASTM B117 NSS with weekly inspection.
Outcome
Alternative coating passed with no red rust at 1000 h; baseline failed at 480 h. Coating change adopted globally.
Automotive ADAS

Automotive Camera LV 124 Qualification

Challenge
Camera supplier needed full LV 124 sequence executed in China to meet OEM SOP date.
Approach
Full LV 124 program including temperature shock, damp heat cyclic, vibration, drop and IP67.
Outcome
Program completed on time; OEM accepted the report; SOP date met.
Frequently Asked Questions

Reliability & Environmental Testing — what customers ask

How long does a typical reliability program take?+

Single tests run 1–6 weeks; full LV 124 or USCAR sequences typically run 8–14 weeks. We provide a Gantt-style schedule before kickoff.

Are your partner labs accredited?+

Yes — partner labs hold CNAS / ISO 17025 and many also hold A2LA / IEC / DAkkS accreditations.

Can you witness or live-stream tests?+

Yes — customer or notified-body witnessing is standard; live video streaming is available for remote witnessing.
